BlockDuel is a real-time crypto battle platform where trending tokens face off in 2-minute duels. Users back their favourite token by buying in during the match - the side with the most momentum wins and splits the prize pool. It's part trading, part strategy, all adrenaline.

Each battle pairs two tokens with similar BlockCaps. Users can buy in during the 2-minute match to push their side closer to domination. Whichever token holds more control at the end of the 2-minutes wins.

BlockCap is BlockDuel's native Market Cap - a dynamic stat that tracks a token's popularity, support, and performance across battles. It grows over time based on community backing and match history. The more battles a token enters (and wins), the stronger its BlockCap. A high BlockCap signals crowd confidence and can unlock bigger matchups, better rewards, and future perks. In the arena, BlockCap isn't just a number - it's your token's rep.

Not for the demo. The live gameplay demo is fully interactive with simulated tokens - no wallet required. Once the full MVP launches on play.blockduel.com, you'll connect your wallet to participate with real tokens.

BlockDuel matches real on-chain tokens, typically pulled from trending coins with live liquidity. You'll be able to vote, submit, or even sponsor future matchups. At launch, BlockDuel will feature 8 iconic memecoins: $DOGE, $PEPE, $SHIBAINU, $FLOKI, $PENGU, $FART, $BRETT, and $POPCAT. BlockDuel is designed to avoid gambling classification. There's no randomness - outcomes are fully based on user actions and token performance. Users retain full control over their funds and there is no house custody of crypto at any point.

Traditional trading is solo. BlockDuel makes it social, competitive, and gamified. It's about short-term prediction, group psychology, and speed - not long-term investing. You battle, not just buy.

Yes - if your token loses the battle, you may forfeit your buy-in. However, if your token wins, your earnings are proportional to your contribution. Like PvP gaming with real stakes, risk and reward go hand in hand.

BlockDuel does not integrate directly with real token contracts. Instead, tokens in battles are fictitious characters inspired by popular on-chain coins, with no functional correlation to their real-world counterparts. At launch, all tokens are hand-selected and hard-coded into the platform — chosen based on popularity and cultural relevance in Web3. As BlockDuel evolves, more tokens will be added, and future listings will be voted in by a DAO. All battles are powered by transparent smart contracts, with no custodial fund holding and public visibility on pools and outcomes. Risky or rug-prone assets are filtered out by default, ensuring gameplay stays fun, fair, and scam-free.
